the sea is never running out of water

i am never running out of days

time on earth is like an endless river

i used to feel that way

 

as if the seabirds never stop the fly

or a new wave never runs to shore

as if a warm wind never ceases blowing

i don’t think like that anymore

                 

now i have seen them

they rise and they fall

seabirds and warm winds

and waves (on the shore)

and all life can  give

you can keep for a while

not millions and millions of days

(no blue-sky sunny summer day can last for ever more)

 

too many minds have never thought about it

how precious all these moments really are

like mine before there was no you anymore

i am wiser now

 

now i have seen them..

 

and through the mist of missing you i wonder

how could i take so long to realize

moments that are coming and are going

they are my life
